BARANGAY HERMOZA
According to our history, the barangay got its
name during the Spanish era.
It was said the Spaniards came to the place
and asked the people the name of the community, but the natives could not
answer.
The foreigners noticed the comely ladies residing
in the place and they called them “hermoza,” which means beautiful in Spanish.
Eventually, the place came to be known as Hermoza, a place for a beautiful and
peace-loving people.
