Snow Cream Cafe (Bayambang Branch): A Quick Culinary Tour of Asia
(A quick review)Discovered a new cafe in town that offers various Asian cuisines under one roof and then some: Snow Cream Cafe. It located along the national highway in Brgy. Telbang. It is a major surprise, considering this town is not yet a city where food places of this sort is but normal, and the location is a rural barangay, take note.
For just around P2,000, you can have an Italian pasta dish, a pizza (Italian but actually with pineapple, so Hawaiian), a Malaysian version of chicken biryani, laksa (Malaysian and Singaporean), chicken karaage (Japan), and pad thai (Thailand).
There is even a nasi goreng (Indonesian) as another option which I missed noticing, and I spotted a sriracha (Vietnamese) among the condiments, though I didn't notice pho among the offerings.
I also saw a whole line of super-tempting Korean-style creamy garlic bread on the counter, plus burger and fries (American, of course), takoyaki (Japanese), egg tarts (Macanese-Portuguese), beef rendang (Indonesian), and a very fusion cuisine item, chai latte (wait, what?), on the menu.
I suddenly missed yakisoba, but I don't think it's on the list.
As a friend puts it, dining here is like going around Asia and beyond without leaving your dining chair, let's just say.
