History of Barangay Zone VII
Poblacion Norte is the official name of Barangay. It is bounded on the West and East part of Bayambang near Brgy. Zone V, Zone VI, and Zone VI.
Due to the unavailability of original records about the history of the barangay, important information is gathered through interviews from old folks ages 75 years old and above who grew up on this barangay. According to them, the first settlers were a family of a two Japanese originally lives in town specifically on this barangay. Years ago, they called the place Estacion because of Philippine National Railways (PNR) was located. Many people came and settled in this Barangay.
The Local Government Unit of Bayambang decided the Poblacion Area and composed it into 11 Barangays. Because of this, they changed the name of the Barangay from Poblacion Norte to Brgy. Zone VII. This was all started the name of Barangay Zone VII.
