 AGRICULTURE AND FISHERY SERVICES

Alinsunod sa mandato nitong isulong ang pag-unlad ng sektor ng agrikultura at tiyakin ang seguridad sa pagkain sa buong bayan, patuloy ang Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) ng Bayambang sa pagpapatupad ng iba’t ibang programa, proyekto, at pagsasanay para sa kapakinabangan ng ating mga magsasaka at mangingisda. Naging katuwang ng tanggapan ang mga ahensya tulad ng Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), University of the Philippines at Los Baños, at iba pang institusyon upang makapaghatid ng mga interbensyon at oportunidad para sa kabuhayan.

Mula sa mga pagsasanay sa urban gardening, organic farming, at paggamit ng makabagong teknolohiya sa pagsasaka, hanggang sa pamamahagi ng binhi, abono, makinarya, at tulong-pinansyal, layunin ng MAO na patatagin ang kabuhayan ng mga Bayambangueñong magsasaka. Kasama rin dito ang mga inisyatibang nakatuon sa kaligtasan laban sa peste, pagpapataas ng ani, at promosyon ng mga produktong lokal. Sa lahat ng ito, ipinapakita ng MAO ang tapat nitong hangarin na gawing mas produktibo, makabago, at matatag ang sektor ng agrikultura sa bayan ng Bayambang.
