Bayambangueña's son is City of Los Angeles Controller

 

The son of a Bayambangueña has just been elected as the controller (accountant or comptroller) of the City of Los Angeles, California in the United States.

 

His name is Kenneth Mejia, the son of Raquel Puzon Mejia of Brgy. Telbang.

 

He reportedly beat a veteran City of Los Angeles official, to become the new Controller of Los Angeles City Hall.

 

Kenneth is in his 30s, with a progressive, visionary platform. He is reportedly the first Certified Public Accountant as LA City Controller and the first Filipino and first Asian-American to become an elected official in the City of LA.

 

His advocacies include financial transparency in city government and solving homelessness.
