History of Barangay San Vicente
San Vicente is an evidence of a living Filipino community. Despite of the wave outside influence that enter the place, they still can stick with their traditional way of living and beliefs without being resistant to the present of outside forces and influences.
As to how San Vicente got its name, we can give credits to our elders and former inhabitants of barangay. Our religious elder have clearly shown devotion to the town patron saint, thereby naming it after San Vicente Ferrer, Patron Saint of Bayambang, Pangasinan of almost 500 years.
From this humble beginnings up to the present, there arise people who have the calling to lead and the desire to serve the populace.
San Vicente is in the smiles of its good and industrious and in its wonderous natural surroundings and environment.
The present chapel constructed through the efforts of the first Barangay Chairman Mr. Vicente Cabral is built on the land donated by Mr. Vicente Suelen with the senior San Roque as the patron saint of our barangay.
