 HISTORY OF BARANGAY PANGDEL

Pangdel is derived from the word Pang-Pang meaning a small parcel of land situated along Agno River. Long time ago only few houses are built between Agno and dike road. Nature widened the land because every time that there is a typhoon, floods always came along the way of the high soil called PANG-PANG and the soil eroded and as time goes by and by pang-pang become pangdel meaning a place become an agricultural land and a thickly populated and it is a very rich soil for the three crops rotation like palay, corn, and onion. Today, it is one of the most progressive barangays.
