- Singa no mila ed prusisyon ; Singa kaiba ed prusisyon (Looks like they are joining (or part of) the procession) - mabagal maglakad 

- Talora lay sali da. (Mikatlo imay baston.) (He has three feet already (with the cane being the third).) - - patay-patay iran unakar; mabagal maglakad

- Ambëlat so paltak to. (His balls are heavy.) - mabagal maglakad; walks ever so slowly

- Naynay ya walad sampot ; Naynay ya walad utit (always at the far end)
