Bayambang is a first-class municipality in the south-central part of the province of Pangasinan. It became the fifth capital of the Philippines during the First Philippine Republic. It is also known as the corn belt of Pangasinan and the onion capital of northern Luzon. It is also home to the makers of the best fish buro, the home of the binasuan dance, and the home of Philippine cycling. It is also the Guinness World Record holder of the longest largest barbecue and the tallest supported bamboo sculpture.
