Intro for Atty. Rodelynn Rajini Sagarino-Vidad

Our speaker today is a true daughter of Bayambang, Pangasinan, whose journey of excellence began right here as the Salutatorian of Pangasinan State University Laboratory High School, Batch 1999.

An Iskolar ng Bayan through and through, she continued this path of distinction at the University of the Philippines, earning a degree in Public Administration and her Juris Doctor from the UP College of Law. Her journey in public service began immediately after university, taking her through the halls of national policy-making. She served as a legislative staffer in the House of Representatives, a Presidential Staff Officer at the Presidential Management Staff, and later at the National Anti-Poverty Commission. It was here, at the National Anti-Poverty Commission, working directly with our country's most vulnerable sectors, that she found her true calling. This experience ignited her desire to pursue law—not for prestige, but as a more powerful tool to serve her fellowmen. Juggling work and her studies, she forged a work ethic defined by discipline, hard work, and resolute commitment to excellence. Her career has been a testament to this single-minded dedication to service. In 2016, she answered the call to come home, leaving a private practice in Manila to serve as Bayambang's Municipal Administrator, where she was instrumental in crafting the town's landmark Poverty Reduction Plan. Her commitment even crossed oceans. In Australia, she served as a passionate advocate, protecting women and children from domestic abuse. But driven by a deep love for her hometown, the call to serve her own community brought her back home in 2022 to once again assume the post of Municipal Administrator. Today, she is known for her integrity, her passion, and her powerful belief that there is no place for mediocrity in public service, because the people of Bayambang deserve only the best. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s give a warm welcome to the pride of PSU Laboratory High School, Atty. Rodelynn Rajini Sagarino-Vidad!
