My warmest greetings and felicitations!
This year’s theme for the Annual General
Membership Assembly, "Beyond Power: Electric Cooperatives Empowering
Communities, Changing Lives,” underscores the integral role of electric
cooperatives, such as CENPELCO, in
building, shaping, and strengthening our beloved hometown. At their core,
CENPELCO has been a dedicated electricity-provider for many families in
Bayambang. Throughout the years, we have relied on them for our communities’
needs and our people’s well-being. This relationship thus makes cooperatives
more than just suppliers of energy; they are catalysts for community
development and progress.
One of the most transformative aspects of
our administration’s banner program, “Rebolusyon Laban sa Kahirapan,” is our commitment to consistent, accountable,
and total quality local governance. I
hope that this kind of leadership is generated not only in the halls of our
Local Government Unit but also in our trusted electric cooperative–CENPELCO.
When we integrate the welfare of our constituents in everything we do, this
empowers the community, brings people together and amplifies community
voices—ensuring that long-term solutions reflect local values and priorities.
Cooperatives like CENPELCO breed
communities at present by creating networks of interconnected relationships.
When individuals gather to converse about mutual objectives, they build
connections that make a community far stronger. Such connections also lead to
resilience. In times of crisis, whether it is societal challenges, economic
downturns, or natural disasters, communities with robust networks are more
likely to respond effectively. To be able to deliver necessary services and
support during trying times, electric cooperatives are often in the lead with
regards to operations, working with non-profit organizations, local
governments, and other institutions.
Electric cooperatives are so much more
than just energy providers; they are an integral part of the communities they
serve. And as we move forward, let us remain grounded on our common
denominators as public servants—collaboration, local engagement, and sustainable
practices. Together, we can deliver not only better access to energy but also a
brighter, more promising future for all
Bayambangueños.
Mabuhay ang serbisyong matapat para sa
mga mamamayan!
Mabuhay ang Bayan ng Bayambang!
