Bayambang Central School is reported to be Pangasinan's oldest school. It was established in 1914 (the school per se, not necessarily the main building, but then who knows?).
One can't help but wonder why the government would put up the province's first school right here in Bayambang.
During the Japanese occupation, the school reportedly served as a garrison.
